The Final Round of the Contest on initiatives for sustainable poverty reduction through developing internal resources of community
16/03/2017On December 12th, 2016, the National Office for Poverty Reduction (Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs), in collaboration with the Poverty Reduction Policies and Programme PRPP (funded by UNDP and Ireland) held the Final Round of the Contest on the Initiatives for Sustainable poverty reduction through developing internal resources of community”. Representatives of 10 teams of minority ethnic have been selected to participate in the presentation at the final round.
The contest was launched from the beginning of July, 2016 and received the registration documents from 44 teams. After a review of the results of evaluation of technical advisors, organizers select 25 teams are invited to the preliminary presentation. In 25 teams participated in the preliminary selection, the jury and the advisory committee has selected 10 teams with the most feasible plan of production and business development and has the highest score for technical assistance to help implementing a plan.
During 3 months, 10 selected teams received technical support from experts in different fields to implement a plan for production and business development according to the actual demands of each team. The Final Round will be an opportunity to present the result of the team after the effort from the support of the counseling, connecting of the local mass organizations, central, business industrial, non-profit organizations and independent consultants.
The contest was held at the Hall at 3rd floor, Union Building, MOLISA, It will be a day "competed" with tough and attractiveness of 10 teams.
